This is wierd cloud formation but my daughter took this when she went to Az last week. I believe it was right here, just before they got to the state line. I know its not a sunset but she was facing the east, taking the pic from a truckstop here in Calif. Sorta looks like a portal in the sky, eh?

The phenomenon is called a hole punch cloud, caused by a cold downdraft passing through a lower cloud formation.
