An SNJ and AT6 WWII trainers.
I was in the old C-45, we were off to do an airshow.

We would show up at airshows in original WWII uniforms.
It would get hot sometimes standing out in the sun all day in those wool uniforms. But well worth it.
And got invited to some fun hanger partys after the show.

Taken this afternoon. Very windy day, everyone was using Runway 11, the crosswind gravel strip here in Bethel. Looks like a Hageland Aviation add.

Warptman, thanks for the photos (AND for reminding me how much I hated "overwing" refueling aircraft whan I was in the USAF!)

The C-45 and crew. To many airshows, can't remember where this photo was taken.

Inside the C-45. The Brit went back to England and got an original WWII uniform. Made a nice addition to the group.

Cool Blue Angel photos in SF Bay

BZ's '07 San Francisco Fleetweek Photo Gallery

Check out the people in the boats in the Golden Gate photos. They don't even see the plane coming. But it doesn't look fake as you can see the water disturbed beneath the plane.

I absolutely love Blue Angels, i'm also waiting for Thunderbirds to do a show around here. May be next year.

We saw BA's in Tampa AFB in April at the airshow.

I snapped some shots here:

WOW I cannot believe how close to the water and boats those planes were. That must have been amazing for those people in boats that day! Thanks for sharing.
