That is sick, the lower 48 has more snow than Alaska does. We have a whopping 3 inches here in Bethel, in South West Alaska. Here is a shot from this evening.
It's 20° with a wind chill of about 5° , we're expecting 6-10" but hey, it's Buffalo. Here's my shot from tonight.

I used to live in Colorado and drive up to visit my father-in-law in Bozman MT. Yep that snow was just passing through.
I also grew up in eastern Colorado....I was 18 years old before I ever saw the snow FALL out of the sky.....it always blew across from Wyoming on it's way to Oklahoma.
At one time or another this year we had a foot of snow. That all melted and now it cooled back down a bit and snowed three inches. A couple days ago we had hoar frost, it plastered everything...
