This is the image that got me hooked on a dslr. I had just converted from 35mm film.

I tried for years as a kid to catch one of these in a jar. Either they were just to quick or I was to slow. On an outing with granddaugher I finally get to see what I was chasing.

I think we both may have gotten pics of the clearwing hummingbird moth, (Hemaris thisbe) I got another humungous moth pic this week.

Awwww, cmon. Spiders are your friends. Just think, theyre the guarddogs outside at night taking care of cockroaches, mosquitos, termites, etc.
