After seeing this mentioned by Alpha8207 and ImRandy in another thread, I thought it was a good idea.
What photos ALMOST made the grade for you to enter into the photo contest that is going right now, but didn't for one reason or another? I know I looked through a few of mine before deciding on the one I picked. Let's see your "almost" photos here. Even if you didn't enter, let's see the ones you think you might have.
I also really liked this one, but it was from a couple of months ago and I wasn't sure about it qualifying for the "Taken within the last month or so" Rule.
These were taken at the same time as the "Little Blue Heron" picture that I put in the contest.
I was walking my dog up the street about two weeks ago, when I saw the little creek crowded with some great birds. I only have a point and shoot little Kodak, but I'm happy I had a chance to take some snapshots.
If I didn't have the photo I entered, these would have been considerations. The third one is my favorite of these three.
