I had the ISO up high to capture the moons of Jupiter.
This was taken at zip 76548

I had only my smart phone to get the shot from NW Texas (near Lubbock) but it was definitely worth watching. Thanks for posting.

I was lucky. No clouds at all-it was in the SW corner, wasn't up that high. The folks at the visitors center at Colorado National Monument west of Grand Junction were out in force with their telescopes, they had a great view of it. An amazing sight to see!

Default This was the only time...

...that I got the moon with Saturn and Jupiter, that was worth anything.

Here in Las Vegas, I was able to get a photo. But the haze kept it from being tack sharp.

Very nice on the Saturn. Even with Canon digital pro 4 (editor), I could never get that close with the lens
I use (kit lens)

With the canon EF 75-300mm kit lens that I got with my T-6, I am thinking that there is a better one out
there. Price is the only inhibitor.

That is still an amazing shot that you got! Jupiter with at least two moons around it, and Saturn with its rings clearly seen.
