That's a great one Bulldawgfan. I enjoy driving through that part of the country - it has awesome pecan orchards, unique trees, and great plantations. Yeah, your tree has more fuzz than mine. Oh well.

There is an old rice plantation that I pass on my way to Charleston, S.C. that I have been itchin' to shoot. Big huge oaks, magnolias and pecan trees... surrounding one of the coolest plantation homes I have ever seen. I am not sure whatever happened to the rice farming that went on in that area, but business at one time must have been excellent!
I agree with you... there is some really neat stuff out there if one just looks.
These are the locally famous Ga. bearded live oaks. Those coastal trees have but peach fuzz... no pun intended.
Why do those trees give me the creeps?
