LOL, pretty impressive. But you already knew that.... I'm hoping to make it to the nearby rodeo this summer. I can only wish that I will take half as good photos of the rodeo, compared to what I've seen posted on this forum. Love, love, love the action shots.
Well, being that I'm a former pro-rodeo guy, as in Team Roping/"Header"...…..darn good photos. When I wasn't swing a loop, I was taking photos at rodeos in So. Calif. and in Colorado. Been retired from the sport for a good 15 years, but wife and I have gone to a lot of rodeo's since I stopped.
I've got some good ones of "flanking a calf", saddle and bareback riders, some "can chasers" aka "turn and burn" ladies and aka Barrel Racers, "headers and "heelers" stretching their steer, dogging and a few of bull riding.
Got my Permit when I was in the Sierra Circuit, now know as the California Circuit, and the we moved to Colorado (28 miles south of Denver) and I was in the Mountain States Circuit.
Well, moved back to Colorado (northern/Loveland) too late for any rodeo action this year, but will be going to the National Western Stock Show & Rodeo in Denver this coming January and will get some shots of that.
