I thought this as deserving of its own thread given the all out open war Soros has announced upon FOX News with his funding of an "investigative" branch for Huffington Post and his latest (but first admitted) $1 Million donation to Media Matters.

George Soros’ Millions Buying ‘Political Reporters’ for NPR - Big Journalism

The left loves to go wild claiming that Rupert Murdoch, a famous conservative, owns a few news outlets. The left is also aghast that well known righty Roger Ailes guides Fox News. Ailes’s ideology makes of his network a compromised product, they claim. It’s all a travesty of “news,” and “proof” that those agencies are contaminated by right-wing ideology say lefty detractors. So, with the news that George Soros is buying one hundred political “reporters” for National Public Radio (NPR), one waits with bated breath for the left to decry the fact that a famous anti-American leftist is buying and influencing the “news.”

It's time to eliminate all tax dollars that fund NPR and PBS.

No where in the US Constitution, Article II Section 8, is there any provision for a National Newspaper, Radio, Magazine, or TV. It's time to pull the taxpayers plug. I don't want my money going to that left slanted station and I am certain I am not alone. If the tables were turned, and this "news" station were slanted to the right, then the call for "fairness" would be coming in from all of the the states.

Government doesn't belong in funding communications for news. It isn't in the Constitution. We need to eliminate the funding and apply that tax money toward paying down the debt. Those who listen to NPR and watch PBS, should fund it themselves and not forcibly take my tax money to support something I don't agree with in government; ie propaganda.

Is that like McDonald's founder and conservative Joan Kroc who donated $225 million to National Public Radio?

Not unless Kroc was also responsible for toppling the currency of multiple countries by manipulating their economic system. Not unless the founder of McDonalds supports narco-terrorists. Not unless the founder of McDonalds also funds more than a half-dozen Progressive political activist organizations.

Nope, not even close to being "like" anyone elses donation.

You can put an angel's wings on satan but he's still a force of evil.

Great post. Thanks for starting this thread. Would have repped you again but have to spread it around in the name of "neutrality!"

How is Soros "anti"-American, he has been an American citizen since 1961 ! On the other hand, Murdoch became a citizen in '85 because:
Rupert Murdoch - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

'...Acquiring American Citizenship
In 1985 Murdoch became a United States citizen to satisfy legislation that only United States citizens could own American television stations....

Default Move over, Juan

The scent of FOX on Juan was too much for NPR and its new owner, GS.

Juan had to go.

Too bad NPR didn't have a more believable reason to terminate his career.

Shades of the "Gulag Archipeligo"!

NPR has acted out a scene from Solzhenitsyn's communist Russia.

Kroc gave the money to NPR without condition. Soros didn't.

At least that donation didn't come with his own reporters...

Soros is an Hungarian Jew. He single-handedly crashed the economy of Indonesia. We all know how that worked out. Well, maybe you don't.

Obviously, you're a Soros-supporter, so I guess you won't be too upset should the US start bombing Iran.

I'm sure Soros appreciates your role as one of the Marxist "useful idiots". Ignore his entire history of meddling in politics and currencies worldwide at the peril of this country.
