The Windy City is struggling with over 11,000 migrants in shelters and 4,000 staying in police stations and the O'Hare International Airport after more than 18,000 have arrived in the city in one year.
To free much-needed room in shelters, the state of Illinois is helping cover costs for temporary housing for migrants, including $9,000 in rental assistance over a six-month period, Chicago's deputy chief of staff Cristina Pacione-Zayas told Fox32. The funds include assistance with moving costs and a starter kit to furnish apartments.
Nothing makes common sense anymore. Why let refugees in when you have to pay to house and feed them provide health care..when we cnat even take care of our own homeless or poor.
Majority of funding for this scheme is coming from state of Illinois with Chicago picking up small part of remaining tab.

The plan includes funding for both rented apartments and homes for illegal immigrants and includes assistance for both moving in and money to help set-up the new apartments, according to the report."
This would be funny, but sadly this is nothing more than another example of the Biden Administration putting Americans at the very end in the line of priorities AND it is hurting way too many Americans, especially as we head into our coldest months… But, Biden doesn’t care how many Americans will suffer and/or freeze, as long as his illegal aliens are kept nice and warm AND fed better than most Americans… Especially our kids.
What even makes this worse is that over half of America freely voted for this insanity. If people simply listen to what Biden was saying in 2020, you would have known what his plans were and how destructive they would be on the average American.
Yet, MOST of the people who voted for Biden AND are now suffering under Biden’s policies, will end up voting for him again in 2024!!
That is what confuses me the most since I can’t see the logic in voting AGAINST YOUR OWN BEST INTERESTS!!

People of Illinois and Chicago voted in these eejits and elections have consequences.
The majority of the state of Illinois voted Republican. The leftists in Chicago drowned out their vote. The state should not be saddled with this. Let the areas that voted blue be saddled with this.
