amazing....we keep electing politicians that should not be allowed to cross the street on their own

all their little fluffy agendas sound so wonderful.....until reality

Over 67K migrants are living in NYC shelters - more than triple the 2022 holiday season total - as Mayor Eric Adams calls Biden's lax immigration policies 'baffling'

"It comes alongside the news there are now over 67,000 migrants living in the city's shelter system, over triple the 21,300 at this time last year "

"Adams ...... constantly begging Washington for money to solve a disaster that he claimed will 'destroy my city'"

"In a Sunday interview, Adams was asked why his fellow Democrats in DC have ignored his repeated, in-person pleas to help, the mayor said he was at a loss and the migrant problem had spread to other cities. "

'I find it baffling because now you are hearing the coalitions that started with Eric, now it has gone to Chicago, Massachusetts, Denver... so many municipalities are joining me and saying this is impacting our city, so I'm not sure why we're not seeing a response' Adams told ABC 7."

Sounds like even Adams is waking up to the fact that the Democratic party, even at the national level, doesn't care about the harm they are doing to the American people. One day maybe he'll awaken enough to realize that it is deliberate.

Wasn't he just accused of inappropriate behavior around women in the past or something? I thought the DNC already took care of this out of line democrat...?

"IMPACTING" adams and hochul and diblasio couldn't see that coming!

Speaks to their lack of foresight and detachment from reality. Blinded by ideology.

Word choice 'impacting' is a neutral term, wordsmithing mitigates the disaster he has maintained in NYC.

Welcome to the club. Nobodys listened for decades now, including adams and company. But alas, a change of heart. Glad theyre finally getting what theyve turned a blind eye to. Why no more busses to marthas? Because thats when you face real backlash. They wont have it, and you'll receive a political enima.

Mayor Adams....our sanctuary city policies are impacting our city... over 67,000 migrants living in the city's shelters
Your article didn't say anything about sanctuary city, and its probably because it has nothing to with the migrants.

"Adams has estimated the city will spend $12 billion over the next three years to handle the influx"

"Adams has introduced a 30-day limit for single adults in temporary shelter housing."

"Earlier this month the Democrat announced a $110.5 billion budget, claiming cuts across all departments were necessary after the city spent $1.45 billion in fiscal 2023 on the migrant crisis."

"The budget cuts would cause NYPD officers to be cut by a fifth, or 13.5 percent, by postponing the next five academy classes, bringing officers below 30,000 - down from 36,000. "

"Education would also take a $1 billion hit over two years and it would cause a delay in the rollout of composting in the Bronx and Staten Island, causing reduced trash pick-ups as well as cuts to the city's pre-K programs."

"The New York Public Library, Brooklyn Public Library and Queens Public Library also would need to eliminate Sunday service due to the budget cut."

"The cuts would also decrease funding for two children's programs: summer school and universal prekindergarten."
