Are you from a Red State or Blue State? Does it really matter? When you first registered to vote, did you have to make a decision then, red or blue, Republican or Democrat, or did they let you fudge? Maybe you're a libertarian or a Green Party supporter, or maybe you don't like to be pegged, and so tell everyone you're an Independent.

How many of us are 100% Democrat, or 100% Republican? Do we agree 100% with everything one party stands for? What about the times when no one knows what a party is for or against? What exactly is the Democrat position on immigration, or abortion, or the economy? What's the Republican position? Do the candidates you voted for agree with those positions all the time every time? Anyone voted for any mavericks?

Do we want our Senators and Representatives to vote with the party on every issue, or do we want them to reflect on their positions and strive to represent the needs and desires of the people who elected them into office, even when that means going against the party line?

I don't want to be slapped with a label, or colored red or blue. If you're going to try to define me by where I live or how I vote, I'd prefer if you just said I was 100% Red, White and Blue.
