This is not only nuts but downright dangerous and some of these 'kids' are barely old enough to drive. One recent target is evidently only 14 yo. The City and the County needs to devote a lot more resources to gangs. Often members are too afraid of other members to 'snitch'.

That's ultimately why I got the hell out of Portland. My roommate was dragging me into that "gang culture" and I wanted no part of it.

I wasn't considering joining one of course, but my roommate would try to start crap with thuggish people when I went out places with him, and since I was with him it was dangerous for me too!
