And who knows.. maybe I will revive that here as I am from MA although lived in other states too and I have radical opinions. Maybe me moving here and if I can encourage more like me to come is the change needed or I am probably close in spirit to the areas founding fathers like Tom McCall.. I may be a no name right now and maybe for a bit and ya some might be laughing like whos this guy? but I was sent here for a good reason. That much I do know even if my activity is not public. I also am not a transplant who moved here with a teaching degree or liberal arts relying on that to gain employment. I am a regular mostly Mediterranean guy with indie tendencies and some extremist views, no tattoos.. thats how I sum myself up. I believe in supporting small business too and any chance to put those big businesses down lower.

Very true.. I am from that neck of the woods and I see similarities big time. My cousin also lived in Brattleboro for a bit although hes kind of a squatter type who doesn't bathe.

Does the OP miss PDX every so often? I do at times but I know I could never do a majority of gray days city again as I'm not made that way
