I got more blood test by my regular doc to verify if I have thyroid or not. Well just got the results yesterday and all my levels for thyroid free T and sugar are perfectly normal. The total TSH is high but the free T4 & T3 are in spec. So now I am back to drawing board. Why am I getting my period for a month and why am I gaining weight

You need to see a reproductive endocrinologist to figure out why you have an ovulation disturbance and the best way to treat it. The high TSH suggests a subtle thyroid abnormality that may or may not be causing the ovulation problem. Many ovulation disorders respond quite well to medication, but the reason for the problem needs to be determined.

You would probably get a home pregnancy test and wonder how long delayed period is normal. When the test comes out negative, you may be confused as to how this can happen.A negative pregnancy test is still most likely to mean you’re not pregnant. But if you really believe you are pregnant and have pregnancy symptoms, there’s a chance you may be right. For more consult doctor and do preferred tests.
