Its a pretty well known incident. While it was a legal hit, it is certainly something that should be noted. I believe that type hit was outlawed after that happened.

Just got back from the Cowboy-Raider game and had a talk with some Raider fans about that very subject. Tatum was a stud no doubt. Glad, we didn't have to play them back then too much
