I'd rather see an 18 game regular season and cut the pre-season to 2 games. No one cares about preseason, and between training camp and 2 games you have enough to see how your rookies will perform. I would also like to see regular season football start right after the World Series is over, that way I have something to carry me over into March since I'm not a hockey or basketball fan.

They are talking 2 pre-season games.....That's bad for guys trying to make the team. Some real gems don't get seen until that 3rd or 4th game.

Also some records get diminished.....an undefeated season is almost out of the question now. The off season is cut waaaay to short for teams that make the play-offs......and what are talkin'?? Super Bowl moved to March???

Dungy said that Pierre Garcon would not have made the Colts if there was only a two-game pre-season. What a loss that would be.

I'm not in favor of it because it gives team more chances that I hate to make the playoffs

I vote for 16 games max.

I also think the coaches need the time allotted to judge their personnel before the season. Now maybe there can be 2 weeks of informal scrimmages between different teams and then two formal exhibition games.

Also, does that mean games will start in August? In Miami, Tampa, Tennessee, or Jacksonville? I believe all other southern stadiums are indoor - but that will be brutal heat.

Yes and that's why I don't want to see it because I don't want to see regular season games in August.
