Seattle played a whale of a game on Sunday....turning in a real tour de force of pro football. Bravo!

Some coaches don't get that second chance, or in Pete Carroll's chance, that third chance to get back into the NFL to coach. He's made the most of his opportunity. Lots has been said here regarding offense, defense, special teams, and coaching.
But what I will add to is the relationship between head coach and general manager. They have done a first rate job. They certainly are on the same page here, for sure regarding drafting, free agent acquisitions, etc. Congrats to the Seattle Seahawks for an impressive victory on Sunday!
If not for his success at USC, Pete Carroll would not have gotten his 3rd shot at an NFL gig. He certainly has made the most of it. I for one was fairly confident he would fail again, shows how much I know.
I am not a huge Pete Carroll fan but certainly respect him for what he has been able to accomplish.
You made this an incredibly exciting season for me. You beat my team, the Niners twice, and likely lit a fire under that overrated receiver Michael Crabtree. You gave Kaep and Vernon Davis something to think about as well. You likely lit a fire under the whole Niners organization, so I thank you for that, and look forward to more of this exciting rivalry. I'm especially glad to see Pete Carroll win. Such a great coach, so this win is long overdue. He raises the bar for Harbaugh to beat.
The other great story here is that Russell Wilson became only the second black man to win a Super Bowl!
Also true too, is Richard Sherman. I really got familiar with him over the last three weeks, and appreciate him. His story, coming out of Compton to reach the pinnacle, is the greatest of American stories. He's an American hero, a person who strives for excellence. He's my favorite player.
Hawks!
