alright this is the official steeler thread where we can talk about the steelers history of total dominance! or we can talk about how their gonna knock out the next opponents with Cold, Hard cash!
we'll give ya a ticket to bad mouth the steelers, but we'll get a FREE ticket to bad mouth ya back!
Not a Steelers fan, not a Steelers hater either. They're okay in my book, when I don't have a horse in the race, I root for them as my best friend/college roommate is from Pittsburgh and a HUGE fan. I was surprised by Mike Tomlin's hiring but thought he did okay for such a young guy, they should have a pretty good year as I think AFC North will not be that strong this year, it'll probably be between Cleveland and Pittsburgh as I think Cincy and Baltimore will not be that good for obvious reasons.
I liked the Steelers when Bill Cowher was coaching. And I was rooting for them at the start of the 2005-06 season to win the super bowl, for Cowher and Bettis, which they did in an awesome way, that game against the Colts was one of the best I've ever seen. Now with Cowher and Bettis gone I dont have much in the way of feelings towards them, although i still think Big Ben and Hines Ward are awesome.
Edit: I think Steeler fans are awesome! I go to school with a few that are die-hard fans and fun to watch games with. I also went to a minor-league baseball game last year, and there was a guy with a Jerome Bettis jersey. A couple of guys started shouting "Go Cleveland, Cleveland rocks!" and the guy turned around and said. "Wait, Cleveland has a team?" and then followed up Patrick Roy like and said "I cant hear you guys, I've got too many Super bowl rings plugged in my ears!"

Recap: As the Steelers huddled around him, Mike Tomlin was presented with a game ball following his first game as Pittsburgh's coach. The Cleveland Browns handed him win No. 1 much earlier. In their first game in 15 years without iconic coach Bill Cowher stalking the sideline, the Steelers blitzed, battered and bullied their way to a 34-7 win over the hapless Browns, whose season opener couldn't have gone much worse

The greatest location in the nation....hmmmm, you MEAN "MISTAKE ON THE LAKE"
Chuck Noll and Bill Cowher will go down in history as great coaches...doubt the same thing can be said about yours!! They can't even take your team to the BIG DANCE, let alone win it!
You're just jealous that we have ROCKIN' colors and our BLACK &GOLD looks great out on the field. AT least we have a logo...all you have is skunky stripes on your helmets
Oh, wait....that was in the 80's....I forgot that was in one of those pesky DECADES you Squealer "fans" don't count. 1930's, 1940's, 1950's, 1960's & 1980's....nope never happened.
