My daughter needs shoes for a wedding that is approaching rapidly.
She normally orders online but waited to long.

Does anyone know any shoe stores in Raleigh that carry a larger selection of larger sizes? She wears either 11W or a 12. We are lookng for dressy sandals hopefully.

Thanks for your help!!

Try Wide Shoe Warehouse on Westgate, just off Glenwood/70 just down from the Angus Barn. Not a HUGE selection...but they do carry nice shoes for wide feet and most styles go up to size 11 it seems.

My daughter wears 11s as well, not wide though (I have the wide feet in the family) and we've been able to find her shoes all over the place...from Macys to SRI, DSW...even Target.

I know the Shoe Department in Triangle Town has sizes up to a 12. I helped my cousin shop for shoes for her 8th grade prom and she also wears a size 12. All Shoe Departments locations don't sell 12s. We looked all day for a pair of shoes.

If you do end up going to the Wide Shoe Warehouse make sure you get there early. I got there around 5 or so and they were already closed.

If you still don't have any luck I would suggest possibly consider getting the shoes overnighted or a 2-3 day delivery. I don't know when the wedding is, but if you really can't find anything it would be worth paying the extra money.

Forget Wide Shoe. They have destructed from a name brand outlet to a seller of cheap Chinese shoes about the same quality as Walmart. Don't waste the trip.

SRI has few good shoes and almost no large sizes.

Payless has a surprisingly large stock of women's 12 at good prices.

Zappo's online might express ship for a charge. They are great and want to help.

My wife wears a 12, and we got wedding shoes at Payless in Triangle two weeks ago.

Buying shoes online (Zappos.com or ShoeBuy.com) is a pleasure. Free shipping both ways. And since your daughter doesn't have a wide foot, she can wear so many styles.

Funny....the last three pairs I've bought there have been name brands...even a few that are ameriacan made.

You complain aout SWS having 'cheap' shoes...and recomend Payless?

You probably don't get how funny that is.

Payless charges appropriate prices for their merchandise.

Wide Shoe and SRI are not as reasonable.

Payless is great for a special occasion shoe you may only need once or twice. For top quality and great selection, Zappo's is our choice.

The shoes we got at Payless were special selections for our son's wedding.

Nordstrom usually has a good selection, or you could try DSW
