wouldn't size of plot matter. My sister has an amazing three car detached garage on her property it even has a stand up loft area.

But her house sold at same price of a one car garage. And the garage made it harder to sell. Why she is corner plot on a 50x100 lot. the garage takes up entire backyard. Her backyard is five feet deep. Kids can play in driveway that is it.

Her neighbors have a one car garage which gives them 25 feet of backyard.
