Does anyone know the ingredients of the spice mix that Jersey Mike's uses for its subs? The only ingredient I can find published is oregano. I have googled and can't find it. On the other hand, the Carabba's bread dip mix was everywhere.
I just love the spices that Jersey's Mikes uses and would love to come close to being able to replicate it.
I am an ex employee for jersey mikes. The only ingrediant in the spice shaker is oregano, and in the silver shaker is salt...mikes way always consists of onions lettuce tomato, red wine vinegar (diluted to 5% when it arrives in the bottle) and a mix of 75% canola oil and 25% olive oil

Hey JerseyMike420, I am currently pregnant and living out of the country (where there is no Jersey Mikes). Before I left I ate a number of the cheesesteaks. Is there anything special they did to make them taste so good? Grill the bread? A special cheese? Thank you!
