I recently bought two cookbooks and looking at them I realized they were both from Taste of Home. One has traditional recipes that everyonre should cook. The other one that I will be using the most has 362 chicken recipes. That is a meal a day except for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas. I usually prefer Farm Journal recipe books because they mostly have natural foods and not ingredients you have to go searching for in strange stores.

Here are a few of my current favorites.

And, of course, "The Better Homes and Gardens." I use a 1960's edition because it doesn't call for so many processed ingredients.

Thanks. But there are many in eat your books group with higher number of books. I started buying books and magazines in my teens. I try to buy kindle books now that I am running out of bookshelves.

Cookbooks are a weakness of mine. And coffee table food books.

When you can't eat everything you can always look.

I love the cooking sites for their rapid access but there's something about a book. . .
