Why don't dogs or other animals have belief systems? They don't need them.
None of them are as emotional as humans. They all live the same life everybody in their species does. Their is no infant as vulnerable as a human one. They need to be taught EVERYTHING. Unlike other species, we don't live a life that's prepared and predictable. That's not how we are. We have to question things. It's a human thing. We need that safety, that comfort.
