Are some women attracted to New Age spirituality because they find the Abrahamic faiths misogynistic?
Could be.
And many men don't like Christianity trying to be put in Jewish wardrobe, with the promotion of the angry and vengeful God of the Old Testament, when there should be the promoting the NT and a forgiving and welcoming Jesus.
There's a plus to seeking promotion of peace and balance, that is rewarding to many of both genders.

The Abrahamic religions are all very misogynistic. Especially Islam. In New Age circles, especially those incorporating earth religions, the "goddess" earth is a central figure, and many have incarnation of the goddess, always female, as the giver of life, nurturer and bringer of healing energy. In New age circles, women are not relegated to second class citizenry.
Perhaps that has something to do with it? Maybe women like the self-empowering aspects that are largely absent from the Abrahamic faiths.

Islam is no more misogynistic than any other Abrahamic religions, so let us stop with the ant-Islam bla bla.
It is not religion alone that can be misogynistic, it is marbled into society just as racism, casteism, xenophobia etc, etc. are.. Evidence : the stringent anti-abortion laws being passed in states within the US, are blatant misogyny. (This is not discussing pro and anti abortion but the misogyny behind it).
There are traditional religions where women feel equal, celebrated, even if the texts can be interpreted as misogyny. Often the interpretation is simply wrong, misguided, but it sticks.
I don't believe women need their own religion. Divinity has no gender and neither do we. Gender is a social construct apart from simple biology.

I was not being Anti-Islam I was pointing out that the Abrahamic religions all relegate women to a subservient position in some way. There are many Christian branches who will not ordain women nor allow them to serve in any leadership capacity.
Compared to New age religions, the opportunities for women are wide open Just as many women charlatans in New Age circles as male ones in Christianity.
Some anthropologists estimate that voodoo's roots in Benin—formerly Dahomey—West Africa
may go back 6,000 years. Today an estimated 60 million people practice voodoo worldwide.''

I wonder if it is because "New Age" often relies on our intuition and women are said to be more intuitive.
Another reason could be that the sacred feminine is often honored more equally in Wiccan/neoPagan practices. Not so much that the Abrahamic religions are misogynistic as that they are patriarchal.
