I want to build a house near Reno. I want to be in a rural/semi-suburban setting but not too far from civilization - maybe 30-35 miles. I prefer sagebrush and mtns. to toxic waste, ammo dumps. Looks like some decent priced lots in Virginia City and Silver City. Something closer to the CA border is perferable. Topaz Lake looks interesting. Any suggestions or comments on those or other areas appreciated.
