I really don't know of many people who would, but I guess some people just don't care about their health.

If you look at a satellite view on Google maps of the Aerojet property, you can see the how close it is to Anatolia. Even if they pump drinking water in from somewhere else, I wouldn't want to trust my health to having a contaminated water table that close to me. And I personally think that what we are informed about environmental dumps is probably not the whole story.
Some people dont care about their health because they made a choice different than what you would do? A bit presumptious dont you think? Why do people choose to live in El Dorado Hills (Serrano) despite the danger of asbestos? Or why live in Sacramento because of the poor air quality and the resultant potential negative impact on one's health. Or, why chose to live in a high crime area of Rancho Cordova? We all make choices based on the benefits/risks and actions taken to mitigate those risks, don't we? It's strange that those homeowners did not get disclosures about these risks (its not a matter that they started doing it "later" as we bought in the earlier years of the community)...Sounds to me that if the risks are as dangerous as you believe and those homeowners did not receive those disclosures they should consult with a lawyer.
