^^Same forecast for my area. I'm only 45 miles south of Sac so it makes sense. I won't mind the cooler temps this weekend. Even a little rain if mother nature chooses to give us some. I like the intermittent showers every few days. The grass stays green, the air clean. I enjoy the variety. April is always nice in the valley.

I wish it would get real spring with dry weather on weekends.

Stop saying such evil things. Today's rain is a Godsend. The real tragedy is that all too soon it will end and the horrible heat will return.

we already had more than enough rain for the year. I want heat so that I can enjoy pool and outdoors and bbq not trapped inside on wet damp weather.

No. It should be rainy and windy all the time. If I could, I'd fire a nuke into the sun to be rid of that damn thing once and for all. I'm tired of having to spend summers (in other words every damn day of the year) in the bathroom cleaning heat induced diarreah off myself.

And who says you need to be trapped inside during "wet damp weather"? What the hell is that anyway? If such a thing were to actually happen, I'd get in my wheelchair and go sit on the porch and enjoy it.

Don't feel bad -- it's been the same in SoCal. But the last couple days have been incredible. Never had such low water bills as this year! And California is so green right now too.

The weather was pretty crazy last week in California. Thursday was indeed the warmest day of the year so far, then Friday was cold and gloomy again, then rain on Saturday.

Anyway, it looks like to date, downtown Sacramento has received 17.01 inches now, which is right about 100% of average. What's crazy is that once again, parts of Los Angeles County have been seen far above average rainfall, with Long Beach coming in at 23.67 in to date, and downtown LA at 25.06. in both cases, that's about 150% of average and significantly more than Sacramento or the Central Valley received. And I believe this is like the third time in the last 10 years that's happened. The upside is, for the last 6 months, we've only been filling reservoirs, while there's been almost no demand for using water, so that's a great combination for the state. Plus, everything is so green right now.
