Hi, is there any outdoor shooting ranges near salem area. Even areas where you can shoot in a very secluded area with no buildings or people around?

Most people don't like shooting outside in the rain so if you don't have an indoor range then it would only be used part of the year. Not a good business model in Oregon.
There is a lot of liability with owning a gun range. They aren't going to let random people walk onto their property and just start shooting. They will want to know you can use your weapon and such, hence the membership requirements.
So...it isn't close by but there is a place by Gales Creek called the Beaver Dam Rock Pit where you can target shoot outside. It is state forest land and you have to bring your
own bullet stopping target and clean up after yourself.

Beaver Dam Rock Pit is a long way from Salem. Not to mention I've seen some rather poor firearm handling out there. I'd rather pay the $15 a day here:
