Because of the 30 miles or less distance, I figured it might be out near Rebecca Creek Rd. or maybe close to Bergheim. There are also some neat little creeks around Kendalia.

To start things off, here's a photo that I took earlier this afternoon (September 23rd). As far as clues go, all I will say is that this spot is within 30 miles of downtown San Antonio, and this is a public road that anyone can visit. This spot is actually one of my favorite photo spots in the region, a "secret" spot not many people know about.

To view the photo on Flickr, including a full-size version (all the way up to 3264x2448), go here: Guess My Location Photo #1 | Flickr - Photo Sharing! (http://www.flickr.com/photos/matthigh/5019435310/ - broken link)

Anyone recognize this location? Post your guesses here! If no one is able to pinpoint the spot in the next day or two, I'll reveal the answer with a bit more info about the location.

And if this turns out to be popular, I'll post other "Guess My Location" photos around the San Antonio region in the future as well.

Furthermore, if ya'll have some stumpers you want to share, feel free to post them in this thread -- it's open to everybody. (Especially mystery urban/city locations, since most of the ones I have are rural shots.) But please try to keep one "un-guessed" picture active at a time, to avoid overloading the thread with mystery locations with no answers.

So...anyone care to guess?

Here's a clue the OP gave.

(My original intent yesterday was to visit the Cibolo Nature Park, next door to the City Park in Boerne, but it was closed due to research. So I did pass by that location on the way to the spot where I took the photo.)
