Alright, we're going to get some tonight. When? I don't know, but post all updates and pics in this thread so we can easily stay updated.

Already reports of flurries in the Canyon Lake area. If you live in the hill country, feel free to post here, too!

I'll be driving around looking for snow tonight. I kept missing the other snow events the last few years. Anyone remember the big one a few years ago in Kerrville? For those that went outside, it was worth it. The pics were awesome. Lets hope we get something similar in SA this year. The question is..do i take my jeep or ford focus? I actually feel I have more control in my Focus because the Jeep is too dang light that it skids a lot.

Update: Here's the vapor loop: 24 hour Weather Satellite Loop - NOAA's National Server
Notice on the Vapor loop that the system is bringing dryer air and pushing the jet stream further south. It appears that dry air is heading closer to the San Antonio area. Should be interesting to see what happens over the next couple of hours with that vapor imagery.

KENS 5 is doing a good job of providing updates as far as closures: WEATHER CLOSINGS: Latest list of schools and businesses | kens5.com | San Antonio News, Weather, Sports, Traffic, Entertainment, Video and Photos

Unfortunately tonight is my one online class at TAMUSA, so I won't be able to take advantage of them closing campus at 5..

The TV meteorologists are dialing back the snow totals for the city. Steve Browne is down to a trace to 1". I doubt any schools will be closed for that little snow.
