Hello all,

How is the living-in rental for a small family with 2 small kids in a home located at 78227, I have not seen any updates on the area since 2019 in this forum so asking.

Crime seems to be high all around San Antonio in general looking at heatmaps on crime grades

Crime, lack of infrastructure, things to do, shopping, schools, basically everything.

You can rock a pretty sweet hair cut if you do end up moving there.

It’s spreading for sure. I saw it in the 78216 this weekend. Kid was doing black flips and catching footballs at the same time into the pool. Impressive

That area is very dated and does have it's fair share of criminal activity. If you drive around the neighborhoods you'll see many homes with burglar bars added to their windows and front doors. That is an obvious sign that it's not a good area to live in. If you want comfort and better security for your family you'll need to pay more for it. Stay away from apartment living as the local news keeps reporting shootings all over town.
