Hello,

First, I must say this, I checked the stickies for this group and it is all filled with wonderful but outdated information (a decade old). Some of the old links have not been updated or has altogether disappeared.

I see that there is a clear high school and elementary school but there are two middle schools. Do I get to choose which one I "prefer" my child to attend? Does anyone have the link to the TX rating of schools? I am physically not in TX yet.

Please add any information that you deem useful.

Thank you.

You don't get to choose which public school your child attends. It will be assigned by the school district based on your street address.

You will have to go to the particular school district's website and enter the address, to see which schools that address are assigned to. Real estate listings also normally list schools in a property's attendance boundaries.

Thank you. On the property website, two middle schools were listed. After speaking with the boundaries people, I know which one it is. The listing wasn't correct.
