I see that the San Antonio Housing Authority approved over $100,000 for the predevelopment of Victoria Commons Phase III also called the Durango Mid-rise Phase. Does anyone have any information on this phase? Anyone know how tall this phase is? It will apparently be built directly off Durango Blvd. across from the Tower of the Americas and Hemisfair Park.

Victoria Commons Phase I was the Refugio Place Apartments (opened in 2004). Phase II is the Artisan Park Townhomes (3-story). Both are shown on the map below.

Also Phase IV of Victoria Commons (the final phase) will include residential and retail.

Sounds like phase III might not break ground until next year. This is the first I've heard of a mid-rise phase, though. That area could use some more density, as its kind of the forgotten corner of downtown.
