Even though some can argue that we don't see much weather here in San Antonio, I think that it would be a great idea for prospective residents and tourists of our wonderful city to have a thread dedicated to our weather. That is, from day to day anyone can post their input as to what weather we're experiencing with a HUMAN perspective (something you can't get from browsing National Weather Service databases).
That means, yes, the discussions should include the weather that we're facing, but the human impacts. Whether it rained mud, or a storm affected your route to work or property.
One thing I've noticed since moving here is that we're home to many stagnant weather patterns, and newcomers come with a false sense of what our normal weather is like. We can be one of the rainiest places in the US, or one of the driest.

I'll start off this thread by saying that it's cool and dreary tonight. The advertised thunderstorms look like they'll miss us... I only see a lone cell up near Burnet.
Lows in the mid 50s tonight, but tomorrow is looking much better... back to the spring weather we know and love

I agree... if we don't have a significant pattern change, we'll be in for one rough summer. Luckily we're going to have scattered storms for the next few days (unfortunately nothing widespread/significant), which should at least delay the effects of drought.
