Need some input.... Our family maybe relocating to this area. I have tried to do some research to find out about the School Systems, ect. We cant decide if we want to move to RC or within a 30 to 40 mile radious more toward the Beach ... What would suggestions be, taking into consideration, school, low crime, good neighborhoods, ect if it were in 30 to 40 mile range from Rancho Cucamonga ?

Thanks for all input and suggestions

For that budget, you will have some decent rental options in the Rancho Cucamonga and throughout the I.E. I think the schools in Rancho are decent, but I will let someone who lives there give you those details because I'm not sure.

If you go more towards the beach, such as Orange County, your options will be more limited (but still possible) on that budget.

Where will you be working/commuting to? This is the most important question in determining where to live in southern California due to traffic concerns.

If looking in the RC area, try to find a place within the Etiwanda school dist. That would mean parts of RC, Alta Loma, Etiwanda, North Fontana. For which parts, go to the district's website.

And you can forget about living near the beach if you'll be working around Rancho Cucamonga. The commute would suck.

The secret to mental stability in So Cal is: keep your commute as short as possible.
