Is there anyone here that has ever lived in WA state?

- Did you move there from CA or elsewhere?

- Did you decide to leave or did you have to? and why?

- Would you ever go back to WA?

Please email me privately. Thanks.

Default I'd like to see replies

Because I'm thinking about moving to WA. Can someone respond publicly?

Thanks.

I was born and raised in San Diego. Lived there for 53 years and still miss it. My husband and I have lived in several states in the last 5 years.
We lived in Everett WA and its just beautiful! The ocean is close by and the pine trees are wonderful. The drizzle and rain gets pretty old. After all they don't call it "fungus corners" for nothing..lol. (San Diego spoiled me.)

We went from Everett, WA to Shawnee, Colorado..and Colorado has WA beat hands down.
But then we went to Oklahoma (ICK! I hate bugs) and WA seemed like a distant dream compared to the night mare of Oklahoma.
We're back in Littleton , CO and just love it here. My husbands job keeps us moving around the country. Next may be Alabama. (ICK! I hate bugs)

But getting back to WA. It depends on what area in WA. Some are better than others. Snohomish ,WA is beautiful. All around WA are lakes with great fishing, and horseback riding...lots of outdoor stuff. Growing up my family would take summer trips to Snohomish, WA because thats where my mom's family settled (they came down from Alaska). I have such wonderful memory's from that time. It's a beautiful state...because of all the rain.

My husband wants us to retire to WA. He justs LOVES it there. The prices of homes are a bit on the steep side. Plus I'm too old for all the dampness. I'm thinking more like the White Mts of AZ to retire to.
Good luck on your move.
