KCBS is still my favorite while driving but once I get home, I dont forget to get on 680AM to catch up on the live commentary of the Warrior games

KGO has good traffic reports during their news shows, but during their talk shows they cut back on them a lot. Especially on the weekends.

When I moved to LA I was mildly surprised that I could listen to KCBS at night. Thought I picked up KGO one time too. I watch bay area TV news on the internet and Eye on the Bay or whatever it is called.

Some AM stations can be heard across a large part of the continent, especially at night. They are the so-called clear-channel stations.

Clear-channel station - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

KGO is one of them.
