Forgive me if I dont have the terminology correct. One day on a you tube video I saw a guy who was going to add a lights or something like that to a truck. He had a electrical box that he would wire up to for testing. It wasnt a battery. Anyone have any idea what I am talking about and if so what would it be ? I want to test something before running wire and all that.

Are you looking for a way to test a 12volt part for your car?

OP, if you're not sure what it is you're talking about, I'd suggest you need to do a lot more learning before "running wire">

If you need a little more power, i use this 30A box for testing purposes. You will need to supply a 2-wire 120v plug to wire onto it. I do a lot of bluetooth installations for vintage radios and this powers my benchtop 4-speaker stereo system.
