to get it out, im not looking to debate if evolution is real or not
im going to generalize a lot here so bare with me
typically when a species evolves the group that got the superior traits lives while the group with the flawed traits die. it just so happens to filter out the weak group
is this the same with humans? up to a point it seems this was the case. but now we have created an enviorment where humans with flawed traits still make it through life and breed, has natural selection been disabled?
I think I read recently that because of mixing of races for generations now that within 100 years there will be very few red headed children born that are not Irish. So yes, we are evolving.

Humans are growing larger, so are our IQ's, and interbreeding of races will gradually create one race that, hopefully, will get along on this earth! At least I would like to think so . Also, humans are gradually losing their little toes...they are getting smaller and smaller and some babies are being born without them. This is because we are wearing more and more shoes!
i would actually think we are evolving backwards. it seems to me that people of lower iqs and traits that would make them less able to survive are actually having alot more babies then people with more ideal traits thanks to our great advancements in technology and health care.

You can't judge whether or not a trait is flawed from the perspective of evolutionary success by anything more than how many offspring survive and how many of them reproduce. It doesn't matter if they have money or education or big screen TVs and Humvees. What matters is how successful they are at procreation.
The migrant family living in a tarpaper shack with 7 kids and 48 grand kids is more biologically successful than the DINK couple in a 10000 square foot house in Malibu. The latter is an evolutionary dead end and is biologically irrelevant if they don't have kids.

Not really-I see yuppies every day with the 2-3 kids they bought at
various places around the world.
