that is very true. my niece from Plymouth, UK came over to my place last year with her 24 yo son and his family, they stayed a few days, complaining about that there was nothing to do and the closest small city was well over an hour away. they did not stay very long.

yep, i'm from Plymouth originally myself.
nobody walks if they can drive(apart from a few avid hikers) and no matter where they go they have to be "entertained", nobody seems to be able to do anything for themselves anymore.
