Unless your water and its container were sterilized by boiling for 20 min+ at time of storage, I woudn't trust it for drinking after just a couple days. Boil it at time of usage....While well water probably doesn't contain any pathogens (bugs that are invasive and bound to make you sick) it still has natural bacterial populations that can multiply while stored to numbers high enough to give you a good case of the runs.

Life is full of risks-- We each decide what level we can live with.-- The risks in drinking stored water are low, but the cure is so easy, why not lower it some more?
