I made a beef potpie last night. Found some rhubarb in the freezer, this morning. Maybe rhubarb pie, for New Years day?

All this thread says is that there are a lot of people who have never had a good cake!

Then again, I love pie and cake. On that note, time to go for a jog...

Pecan pie is my all time favorite kind of pie.

I also like sweet potato pie. We had it Sunday dinner over at my mom's house.

My grandmother use to make acorn squash pie and it tasted so good and sweet and moist and good texture. I don't think I ever knew anybody outside of our family that ate acorn squash pie, or even heard of it. It might be regional, I don't know. My grandmother was from around Jelico, TN and Albany, Ky.

Key lime pie is still a fairly new phenomenon for me because I had never even heard of Key Lime pie until maybe 10 to 20 yrs ago, but it's become one of my favorites.

A slice of hot apple pie fresh out of the oven with a scoop of vanilla ice cream melting and drizzling all over the pie. Omg. It looks as good as the sin of lust and soon as you take that 1st bite, it begins to tease and tantalyze your taste buds like an illicit lover until your eyeballs to roll back in your head.

I'm not too crazy about cake. I usually just eat the icing and leave the cake part. I'd rather have cornbread than cake.

If it's available, I usually prefer an apple, peach, blackberry or rhubarb cobbler to pie, but pie is alot more common than cobbler.
