How do you feel about the police harassment of these protesters, and why is it so important to run the pipelines right there? Aren't there other viable locations?

First all this is a North Dakota event, not a South Dakota gathering. Standing Rock reservation stand in both north and South Dakota. However, the protests and construction are in North Dakota.

The guy running the video is an idiot. He has no clue what he was talking about. They were not blocking his ability to Facebook or livestream. If anything I would speculate he was in an area of no coverage. Additionally, were was the teargas he claims? Where were the effects of this teargas? In this instance I didn't see any.

Now, the protests. I have two thoughts on this. First there is a protected right and the courts continue to uphold that right to protest. They have the right assemble and protest. But that doesn't allow for trespassing on private property or blocking of public roads.

This instance it looks like it isn't harassment as is getting people off of private property or clearning a public road.
