Saw this on a few other state forums and thought it'd be cool to see everyones pups. I am a big dog lover. Lets see some SoDak Pooches.

One saying Ive always loved and who coined it slips my mind right now.....

"Dogs are the only things on this planet that love you more than they love themselves"

Heres Jake

My dogs work for a living and get loved on the like the most babied pets.
I'd be lost without them. Now lets see some pups!

Love the color on that one debey

Lets see some dogs from the prarie(not those little ground squirrels) ....couch potatos welcome too

On another note how are ticks out there in SoDak? They are terrible here and never really went away this winter. Lyme is a big issue here.

Cancan, those look like some fun loving, hard working dogs! Buddy and his best friend look like they LOVE their job! I'm dogless at the moment but have been blessed to be around Siberian Huskies for years (My Brother's dogs) and they are entertaining to say the least! I'll post some pictures from the home computer.

There are plenty of ticks in this region, especially in tall grassy areas, but should note that the ticks in this region very rarely carry lyme disease. It is that way in Nebraska and Colorado, so I'm sure South Dakota is the same way.

What about chiggers?

Blackhills- that is in a back bay along the ocean, those trees in the far background are the last trees before the big pond and england ( pics taken behind chincoteague island)..that grey line in the water is a big oyster bar(yummmm)...it was about 20 degrees that day and that pic was at the end of the day and they still werent done looking out for ducks....they often alert me to birds long before I see them.
