Shambolic display from Pakistan Cricket team. Their Batsman were unable to face short-pitch bowling from Windies bowlers and just collapsed.
There is a difference between performing at T20 in subcontinent and Pace Bowling in England in proper 50 over match.

Sri Lanka & Afghanistan have proved to be weak teams in front of New Zealand & Australia.

The pitch conditions are very different. As per experts , usual swing, Reverse swing, off spin, Front foot batting techniques will not be effective this time.

4 type of Bowling will be important:-

1) Yorker
2) Top of Off-Stump (fpr Slip catching)
3) Googly (Leg Spinner)
4) Bouncer

4 type of Batting shots

1) Hook
2) Ramp (Clearing the fielders like Joe Root, Virat Kohli)
3) Down the Ground
4) Sweep.

Whichever Team will master the art of this type of bowling, batting as well as performing well against such bowling / batting will go further in this tournament.
England, New Zealand have been impressive so far.

And someone needs to let Shazad know you can't just waddle around the field at this level. Hit the gym, buddy.

Mohammad Shahzad Afghan Cricketer ?

They are a very talented team. With experience, they will become better.

Great victory for Bangladesh over South Africa.
Match was interesting till 47th over but when JP Duminy was out, it was gone.

Great crowd support for both sides at The Oval.

Yes him. His fielding was abysmal, and he attended the Chris Gayle School of Trotting Between the Wickets. Not that he got the chance to do much running anyway, IIRC he got bowled out in the first over.

Ha. It had the feel of a Bangladesh home field match to me.

Another exciting day of cricket with Pakistan defeating England.
Joe Root dismissal did it for England. Both Root and Buttler played magnificently but could not win it for England.
Pakistan could have wrapped up this game earlier had it not for dropped catches.
Even England fielding was below par today.

Wow, that was some fantastic bowling on both sides today.

Why hasn't India played a match yet when some teams have already played two?

BCCI is very powerful inside ICC. Possibly the late start of India matches will give players adequate rest after IPL.

Massive win for India today. But what happened to South Africa ?

I have been watching South Africa since 1991-92 and I have never seen such weak & miserable side. They are dropping catches, misfields everywhere. It looked like players had no desire to play cricket today.
Dale Steyn is injured and will stay injured, why did they select him then ?

Are they going Zimbabwe route and will get erased from international cricket?
