I was wondering what the prices of a home would be for a home on the lake around the springfield area? I wanted to spend around $250,000, didn't know if it was possible? or what I could get for that price?

Thanks

The closest lakes of any size are about 30 - 40 minutes away. There are a few small lakes near town. There are several rivers and properties with private lakes and ponds nearby. You will generally be looking at 1 hr from Springfield for most lake view properties.

What town is what?

The town I mentioned in the post above is Springfield (the one with a few small lakes).

As for towns on/near lakes, there are several, depending upon which lake.
