Looking for church suggestions in Springfield or surrounding areas (Ozark: live, friendly)

I've lived in Ozark for 15 years i'm 21 and really want to find a church that fits what i'm looking for I don't care if it's big or small or medium sized as long as it's non judgmental and everyone is friendly and they aren't going to ask me a thousand question's when i go there.

I tried James River assembly it was a nice church but Pastor John Lindell preaching style wasn't for me.

I tried first baptist church in Ozark and it kind of felt too old for me lol no offense.

I'm a huge Joel Osteen fan and if i could find a preacher who's preaching style was similar to Osteen's then i would love to attend and visit.

Any suggestions? thanks

It does not have to be a certain denomination just want a preaching style similar to Joel Osteen's or Creflo Dollars.

When you specify the "preaching style" of Joel Osteen or Creflo Dollar, are you throwing their theology in with it? Because both of these preachers are very specific about their prosperity-focused, self-improvement theology that encourages each individual to focus on their own well-being.

I don't want to start a theological debate, but it's important to know whether you're looking for somebody who just communicates like Osteen and Dollar, or who actually shares their perspective on faith.

On another note, it might be good to de-emphasize "preaching style" as you look for a church. The pastor may be the leader, but he's still just one person. What matters more, in my mind, is whether the community of believers is healthy, growing spiritually, and spreading God's love to the world around them in tangible ways.

This is a Catholic Church, which is not likely to fit the "style" the OP is asking for. But if it does, please feel free to explain, instead of just lobbing the name of a church out there.

Not my thread? Do you mean that I'm not allowed to ask a question of another commenter? If so, would that also mean that you're not allowed to address me directly? It's not your thread either.

Although it's possible that the "pastor" of a Catholic church preaches like Joel Osteen or Creflo Dollar, it's highly unlikely. Especially because I've been to St. Agnes before, and the sermon wasn't memorable. If it had been in the style of Osteen or Dollar, it certainly would have.
