MY HUSBAND AND I ARE FROM IOWA AND HAD AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND A WEEKEND IN DES PERES, MO. ;WENT TO WESTFIELD COUNTY MALL AND DROVE AROUND THE AREA. SO FAR WE WERE IMPRESSED BY THE LOCATION AND THE BUILDING STRUCTURES. I AM A CARDIAC NURSE AND I WANT TO MOVE TO MO TO WORK AND PROBABLY STAY UNTIL WE RETIRE. I DID SOME RESEARCH AND O FALLON SEEMS TO BE A GREAT PLACE TO RAISE OUR KIDS SINCE O FALLON WAS VOTED TO BE ONE OF THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE IN 2006 (MONEY MAGAZINE). o'fallon is a nice place - everything is available on highway K (almost everything) and what isnt is just a 10 minute drive away. that said, its getting crowded. I lived there for a couple of years and moved to wentzville - which is small and growing - and more land for less money. winghaven/lake st. louis are also nice places. There is a new hospital at highway k and 40. A lot of white collar folk live there due to Mastercard and citimortgage - and chesterfield is only minutes away.
