Price range and style of housing will determine that. What amenities are you looking for? (Whole Foods, Parks, nightlife)

Price range is open. Looking for walk ability to restaurants, bars, events and most importantly less crime.

Maplewood is a suburb but is urban in feel.
Lafayette Square
Central West End
Skinker Debaliver
Demun
Tower Grove
Soulard
Clayton
Downtown Kirkwood
Old Town St. Charles
The Hill
Dog Town
Benton Park

I hope this helps.

I agree with all of this. In the city neighborhoods, I’d be most concerned about property crime. Secure parking and always locking your car, never leaving valuables.
